As a practicing psychotherapist, I tend to focus on how I have been able to help others and where thats gotten me in my life. My previous work included helping others live a better life, improve their cognitive skills, and treat emotional issues. I have had the benefit of working with people from all walks of life. Therapy has allowed my clients to face life’s challenges. To be a therapist you must enjoy working with people. Today, I am retired and and I spend a considerable amount of my time now reflecting on how psychotherapy has helped thousands of clients.

The biggest challenge I faced during my job was confidentiality. I learned a lot of information that I would have liked to have discussed with outside agencies, but I had to stick to patient-doctor confidentiality rules. I still feel myself applying therapy to real life challenges that people may face.
